Day 14
I was on a roll with two weeks of my treatment program being complete! When I weighed myself today, I was already down by an impressive 8 kgs. My digestion felt light, and my body was energised. I knew I still had more weight to lose to reach my goal, but I was motivated to see tangible results.
As always, I kickstarted my day, bright and early, with jogging and meditation by the lake. After the ritual honey-lemon drink, my first treatment of the day was an invigorating partial body massage concentrating on my hands, feet, and back using herbal oils.
In the afternoon, I attended an enlightening class on the principles of naturopathy and living in harmony with nature for better health. After freshening up, I underwent a new hydrotherapy treatment. I was made to walk for 15 minutes in a pool with water up to my chest level as a resistance exercise before culminating in an underwater massage. Dinner was a honey-lemon drink. As I went to bed, tired but content at the end of day 14, I was looking forward to entering the last lap.

Types of Treatments I Received at Arogyalayam:
Partial and Full-body Massage therapy involves a therapist using different strokes and pressures to manipulate the soft tissues and muscles for relaxation and well-being.
Hydrotherapy encompasses treatments like enemas, baths, showers, wraps, and colon irrigation using water for detoxification, circulation enhancement, healing, and therapeutic benefits.
Mud and sand bathing covered me in these natural elements to draw out impurities, stimulate blood flow, ease aches and pain, and nourish the skin.
Herbal bathing soaked my body in water infused with medicinal plants like neem leaves to treat skin conditions, reduce inflammation, and improve immunity.
The EMS (obesity machine) used vacuum technology to rhythmically mobilise fat tissues to shrink localised fat deposits around the stomach, hips, and thighs.
Yoga therapy personalised postures, breathing techniques, cleansing practices, and meditation to address health conditions and facilitate healing from within.
Fasting requires complete abstinence from food for a particular time, allowing the digestive system to rest and promote detoxification.
Diet therapy emphasised salt-free, oil-free, wholesome plant-based foods and juices tailored to my constitution and health needs.
